Area Sales Manager for FMCG (Personal Care) Company

Salary:- Upto 9 LPA

Location:
Chennai

Experience: Should have minimum 5 – 8 years experience in General Trade handling local Chain outlets.

Preferred : Having exp. in Skin Care and Women hygiene Product.

Responsibilities:
● Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
● Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
● Handling general trade business.
● Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
● Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
● Managing and scaling the Distribution network in Assigned Territory
● Formulating the plan for achieving Primary/Secondary Targets
● Assist in developing the annual sales plans
● Build sales pipeline for new business opportunities
● Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
● Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
● Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
● Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
● Collection control from super stockiest and distributors
● Appointment of quality distributors to ensure they are in line with operational issues with a new launch. Example: credit extension, collections, stock and repeat primary orders.
● New launch capabilities. Planning for new launches from identification of area, beat mapping, distributor appointment and quality manpower to drive secondary sales business.
● Ability to execute BTL activities as per timelines.
● Prioritizing area and territory mapping to generate quick distribution and revenue.
